hi guys its been a while since ive been on here but me and my husband are now both discarged but my husband has a small ipa of £80 a month.i have now been made redundant so my husband rang the or the otherday as he can not pay it as all his money has to go on paying the bills i am claiming j.s.a but with that all still not enough for ipa, we also now have sky and internet as we are now discarged but want i would like to no is when we fill out a new i&e form will the or let us count for these as they are in my name and i have no ipa .also if i got a job earning again would i be allowed them then im also thinking if i get a new job i will need a can and have been offered a small loan of my parents but would have to pay this back each month can i take this into account as this would all affect my money i can pay into the household and will affect my husbands ipa .
they will still expect you to pay a fair share of the bills, this will be lower because of lower income but will still be significant, that is all they take into account from your side, things like sky will not be taken into account on his I&E
thanks for reply so really when you look at it even know im discarged im still penalised as my husband has a ipa does this mean they will not allow for a payment to my mum for a car loan ??
You are not penalised in any way, all they expect is that you pay a fair share (like you would need to in most households) towards the bills, what you need to look at is if with your current modest income provided by the government for your basic needs, you can afford things like sky and payments to your mum at this present time like you could when you were employed and hopefully will be again soon
thanks for your help i understand it a bit better now will not be borrowing anymoney for car anyway well not until i get a job and only then if the money is right and i can afford it dont want to fall into the trap that caused all his in the first place :))
