Hello Again,

Oh god another set of problems have arisen. I have lived in my privately rented house since April 2004. Rent always paid on the first of the month and to date this has never been late. I was made redundant on 4th Jan and have claimed housing benefit.
I thought I had a good relationship with my landlord?? He asked me to pursue a home heating cold buster grant for a new boiler etc as he said whilst I was on benefits I could get this done free?
It transpires that a charge will be made against his property for the installation.
So no new boiler for me.
I have asked him for a new tenancy agreement as the last one expired on april 2005 as I know I am going to need this to show OR. He cant see why I need a new one?
Next question. New job starts on 20th July and I will be still reliant on housing benefit but am likely to get a nil tax code as in my new job I will pay tax. How will that affect my housing benefit as I know they will take your payslip as what you earn?
Thanks again for any replies
