hi all

its been quite a while since i last posted so i thought i would let you know how things are going.
hubby and i went bankrupt last july we are now just over 2 weeks from AD hubby got an IPA of £157 pm i was lucky and didnt as i an on DLA.
it was the best thing we ever did we have drastically changed our spending habits and we actually have money left at the end of the week something we have not had for years, we use cash for everything i make sure i go to the post office every friday and pay all the bills weekly with all the budget cards for utilities and rent ect, i then put £5 a week for car tax and £10 a week for birthdays?xmas pot then anything that is left out of hubbys wages gets put in our "slush fund" my money which i get every 2 weeks does the shopping and petrol and anything else that is needed, we have got excellent at looking at things before we buy and say to each other do we need it or just want it and if we cant justify it ,we dont get it, we have actually been able to go away for a short weekend and also a week and we are hoping to go away again in august, i also cant believe that we are alresdy 10months into the IPA gosh are we going to feel really rich when that finishes , it has been tough and rally worrying at times but i now know we are almost over the worst of it and it can only get better it, this site has been so valuable to people like us and reading how other people cope and make adjustments really helps long may it continue anyway i will shut up now as i feel as if im writing a novel thanks for all the support and help
