I am married and have debts that are all mine. I have 2 properties with my husband that we rent out. I was wondering if i could sign these houses over to him and go bankrupt. So he won't lose the house's. He has paid for the house's put the deposits down and i have ran all the debt up. I don't think our relationship will hold together if his lose's everthing he's worked for. Can anyone give me any advice ??
Hi Alex, you won't be able to sign the houses over to him before bankruptcy as they can just reverse the transaction. I suggest you speak to an expert regarding this and your situation as the properties may be at risk.
