Council tax bill has been sent to bailiffs equita i started to pay and was late for a payment and now my payment plan cancelled and a bailiff is due to call to arrage payment and do a walking possesion...do i let him in???

Hi and welcome.

Unless he has a court order you don't have to let him in. Make sure that all doors and windows are locked if he calls - he cannot force his way in but if he finds a door or window open he can enter. If he does a walking possession he will just note down what you have in the house that he can take and sell to pay the debt.

Once he's done that then he can come back at any time to take those goods.
