Leo would like some advice on getting on to the property ladder and having the bankruptcy lifted. He has paid off the debt, has now got good employment and has still got a year left as being listed as bankrupt.
He needs to check all 3 credit reference agencies and clean his credit file up. He could visit iva.co.uk, there is a mortage broker on there that may help.
Not sure about the reference to "bankruptcy lifted", does he just mean getting it off his credit file? If so, then it will automatically be deleted 6 years after his bankruptcy.
