I let southern water know that I was moving into my property two years ago and i have been chasing them for a bill for two years, but have not received one. Am I liable for any charges ?

Hi and welcome,

Yes, you are liable for these charges as far as I am aware.

Hi there,

It could be the case, but if you have made numerous attempts asking for a bill without any reply then it could mean you don't have to pay. I was under the impression that after a certain period of time they cannot insist you pay for something that is over a year old (or something like that). Sorry I can't be more certain but it might be worth looking into and maybe speaking to Citizens Advice about?

Would Statute of Limitations would cover this? If so then that is six years from acknowledgement of the debt.
