I defaulted on my credit agreement, but paid over a 3rd of the price. I offered to pay them the money but they said that the credit agreement has been ceased and has been passed over to someone to cease the car from me. They made me feel like I had to pay the amount or I would have to give the car back. I have now had the car ceased from me I have also so been sent a CCJ for a car I no longer have.

Hi and welcome.

Unfortunately you are still liable for the money on the car even though you no longer have it and if you haven't paid then that is why you have the CCJ.

You will be alright
