 Do I have to tell suppliers that I've been bankrupt ?

Hi
I had a limited company a few years ago that went bankrupt then not long 1 went personally as well in 2009 I was released may 2010, i'm now ready to have a go at starting again, i just a bit worried of how i apply for credit accounts with suppliers do i have to tell them I've been bankrupt i know people don't is there ways they can find out?
any help and advice much appreciated

If they specificly ask "have you been bankrupt in the past" then you would have to answer yes, If they dont ask then you are not obigated to tell them
