| hi ,went bancrupt in aug 2011,followed all my instructions to the letter!now my employer has been sent a tax code for this year,i have been paying my monthly tax to the or but what now? i cant pay both and i have heard nothing,no letter or phone call,its payday tuesday so what do i do?any advice would be good. thanks simon |

Hi Simon and welcome to the forum. You only pay your tax to the OR for the tax year during which you are made BR so as of 6th April your tax code will revert to normal and tax will be paid to HMRC.

Last IPA payment made on 28th June 2010 and I'm now looking forward to getting married in September 2012 - I'm proof that you can go BR and come out the other side. |

| you dont pay anyone, HMRC should take the tax normally and you dont pay it into bankruptcy anymore, have a look at the IPA agreement you signed as it sets out the details in there |
