Had meeting with OR yesterday, and to be honest she was very fair. However as we do have some disposable income we are to pay back 70% of this, however, aster 3 years its all over.
There are some general issues;
1. my daughter is to declare herself BR, as she did not pay NI contributins she is not entitled to any state benefits. How does she stand then for the BR payment £495.00?
2. I a m due back some back money from work approx £4000.00 will the OR take all of this? Or are there some circumstances where they may all a %
Thanks for this site, could not have coped without it.
many thanks

Your daughter will probably have to pay the full cost of the application, but the bankruptcy clerk at her local Court ought to be able to advise on this point.

If you are owed back pay, then the OR is likely to take all of this and you should declare this to them as soon as it is received.

Hi Toon Army,

What was this £4000 in relation to? It is likely that the OR will trat this as income and therefore subject to your IPA/IPO.

Hi,
The money is back money from work. My job has had an evaluation back dated 2 years and this is the money i will be owed.
Is there a way of negosiating a %? or am i wasting my time?
Also since my BR I will be entitled to a pay rise does this mean my ips.ipo will change as well?

many thanks

There is no harm in trying to negotiate with the OR, but do not be suprised if they ask for the lot.
