Hi and welcome to the forum.

Have you checked your credit record with Experian, Equifax and Call Credit to see what it says about you?

Don't forget that your BR will be on your record for six years from the court date so will still be showing.

read on a earlier post that the ccjs will stay on my credit report for 6 years unless i pay them off, even if included in BR,so wont waste my time with them.

I think you will have to wait for the six years to pass and then look into removing things from your record.

Hi again M88

nice to see you back on forum as Niobe said pls go and check your credit report with experian.

all debts prior to BR date may / should have been amended to show the debt has been spent / partially resolved.

you can add to your file a notice of correction. I wrote to my creditors and placed a NOC on my credit file and all bar one have amended the file to read partially resolved.

it will stay on file for 6 years before dropping off but at least if you are opening a new bank account they wont get stressed about "new" debts

Good Luck Richard,

Don't forget to check your credit files with Equifax and Call Credit as well.

Last IPA payment made on 28th June 2010 and I'm now looking forward to getting married in September 2012 - I'm proof that you can go BR and come out the other side.
