Hi,

I was discharged in December 2012. My mother died in February of Pneumonia. No warning, no outward signs. Just passed out one evening and died the next Morning.

I have since found out that I am the executor of her will and the sole beneficiary. The will has gone to probate as per the norm. So: Should I expect a call from the OR as in a request to part with some cash? Or do I now just get on with my life such as it is.

Thanks for the help.

Benny H.

I'm so sorry for your loss Benny.

As your Mother died after you were discharged, then the OR will not be interested in any of your possible inheritance.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. As the others have said the OR won't have an interest in your inheritance.

Last IPA payment made on 28th June 2010 and I'm now looking forward to getting married in September 2012 - I'm proof that you can go BR and come out the other side.
