Our property is only worth £285,000 and have a mortgage of £307,000 and secured loan of £100,000. If I go bankrupt and my husband has an IVA what will happen to the amounts outstanding if we sell the house? will they be put into the IVA or my bankruptcy. Any help gratefully appreciated

Hi Maz

They should be declared in the bankruptcy, but if they are joint then they have to be declared in the IVA also.
