just been looking thro some previous posts and had a couple of questions..sure there will be more over the next few weeks.

in one of the posts it said the judge would want to know if you have sought advice.. even if it has been advice over the telephone would this be acceptable.

also i was advised to get in touch with the mortgage co as they will be expecting a pymt 1st sept and advise them of the intention to go bankrupt or should i just ignore the calls and letters for a month as hopefully i would look to go bankrupt end of sept early oct.

if i am successful with the landlord and house that i am going to see today i would look to moving 1st sept. i have decided to take the risk and tell the landlord i am going bankrupt so at least he will know the score...if he declines to rent to me then it could be a while longer before i go bankrupt as i want to secure somewhere to live before i go bankrupt

yes telephone advice is fine, the judge just wants to be sure that you are making an informed decision when going BR.
You've certainly no need to tell the mortgage co anything about your plans if you wish not to.
