Hello,

I went bankrupt in Nov 07 and due to be automatically discharged in Nov 08. All of my bank accounts were frozen, apart from a Joint Account that I have with Nationwide, hich also has her name on it.

My question is....I am in my overdraft by £200 (prior to going bankrupt) and now I am paying it back as I thought it was frozen but it's not. When i pay back the overdraft, do you think I will still be able to use the account? If not my card, maybe my mum's card?

Because I only have an Abbey Cash Card at the mo, and I cannot do direct debits which i need to be able to do....so having use of my Nationwide card again would be brilliant....

Thank you

Hi
if they have not frozen the account and not removed your name from it, try a test with the debit card for a small amount once the O/D is repaid, maybe for just £1, and see what happens.
