| got a phone call from claims direct after br, stating they would write off any debts on credit cards, saying they were referred to me by the or, surely this is a scam, by one of those companies who hover around the insolvency registry, like vultures, trying to pick the bones of my br. |

Hi
If it sounds too good to be true it probably is. The OR would never provide your details to these sort of companies, the only place they could have got your details from is the insolvency register. Besides which your debts will be written off when you are discharged anyway, so how did they think they could help?

Hi Dogs3,
I agree with Suzanne. It's a shame as so many companies that do excellent work in the industry are tarnished by this poor and unprofessional behaviour of a small minority.

Two days after I went BR, I had 2 letters from different companies offering to cancel my BR and give me a bridging loan.
Still get letters from one of the companies, 6 weeks on!
