Hi,

I'm currently an Un-discharged BR, but was wondering where I stand with regards to presents?

My 30th birthday is coming up, and I know there's talk of my brother buying me a PC and my parents buying me a TV and a holiday. Will the OR try to re-claim the presents and need to be told about the holiday, or should I wait until discharge before taking delivery?

Thanks,

T.

I don't think it'll be a problem - my OH took me on holiday while I was undischarged and I didn't tell the OR. I wouldn't have thought that there would be a problem with the presents either.

Hi

The OR would not be interested in hearing about this unless you were getting the gift of many thousands. A gift is just that, and you are very lucky that you have such a generous family - enjoy.

It's not that bad! I've actually been happier in my 30s than I ever was in my 20s.
