My husband is very concerned that my BR will have a massive effect on his business, therefore leading to him not getting as much work as he normally does. He does not need to advertise as it is all word of mouth, however he thinks that word of mouth is not going to be about his business side of things.

Is there any way the OR would see this as a good reason not to publically put me in the paper, or at least the local paper. If they did, and it ended up affecting him, he may very well be going down the BR route shortly after me !!

Many thanks

The weights are coming off my shoulders very slowly, but making such a big diference !!

Hi
it is possible to be granted a stay of advertisement by the judge. He would need to be convinced that this would seriously impact on your husband's business before considering such an application.

Not sure how a judge would see it but if your husband's sole income were relative to, for example, financial advice then I could see your arguement. On the other hand, this may seem harsh so please don't take offence, if he were an IFA the judge may take the view that the local public need to know and make their own minds up as to whether hubby is or is not the person from which they should take financial advise in light of your own situation.

What I'm trying to say is the judge needs to look at things from both sides.

Thanks John

Im really have no idea if it will have such a drastic effect on the business to be honest - maybe he is just starting to have a little panic (as i have done alot recently) - he is a plumber and like i say, gets all his jobs from word of mouth.

Do you think its worth me mentioning or not - im not going to make a huge deal about it, however i am glad to hear what people here have to say.

Thanks again John
