Hi,

Can someone advise please? I have a Company about to seek a ccj against me. I have an arrangement in place with this company and spencer hayes handle the debt (along with other creditors for me). However, this has come out of the blue. They told me they would seek this against me and gave me 7 days to respond but It was sent to my old address which I last lived at six years ago and I only received this yesterday after it was re-routed several times, hence the 7 days elapsed ages ago. I have sent this onto my debt management company but what I want to know is if this company are succesful in the ccj would it have any effect on my intended bancruptcy next year? and would I be able to get this debt included in my bancruptcy even though it is a ccj? many thanks

Hi ACM,

Even if a CCJ is awarded against you, this debt can still be included and written off in your BR.
