Hello,
I am due to be discharged on sunday!!! I am in the process of writing letters to my creditors to update them on this fact. If you have written to your creditors - what have you put in your letters?
Also, where have you sent the letters...to your local branch or to the headquarters - when i look for these addresses i cant find them, i only find phone numbers etc.
any help would be appreciated! Thanks |

Hi 369
Have a read through skippys blog as she has written to some and has info in her blog about this.
The addresses are on the credit reports so it may be worth having those sent to you unless you have one and can look at their addresses on there as it lists creditor addresses and also the dept that would deal with such things.
Best of luck
Jo

Hello,
Just thought I would update you, having been discharged now for 18 days (it still feels great!), I have written to about 10 of my creditors, updating them of my discharge. AND yesterday I was amazed to see that nationwide had already written back to me, thanking me for informing them of my discharge, and they will inform the credit agencies!!! So, that's one down and about 9 to go!!!
I will apply for my Credit Report again in the New Year and see who has and who hasn't complied! |
