AM GETTING READY TO FILE BANKRUPTCY BUT HAVE A SERIOUS QUESTION MY WIFE DOESN'T WORK AND EVERYTHING COMES OUT OF MY SALARY EXCEPT FOR MY WIFES CAR SHE HAS A 04 RENAULT SCIENIC VALUE AROUND £4000 SHE PAYS FOR THIS THRU A LOAN SHE GOT WITH HER CHILD BENIFIT SHE GETS.IF I FILE BANKRUPTCY WILL THIS BE IN DANGER OF THIS BEING TAKEN AWAY FROM MY WIFE AND I DEPEND ON IT FOR WORK AS MY WORK I HAVE TO TRAVEL 50 MILES A DAY ANY HELP BE GREAT FULL
The car is under finance through your wife, and the payments are being made though her child benefit so technically i would say that you would be ok, but are you both going BR.
