Just an idle thought, went BR on the 30th October and still nothing in papers, local or london gazette: would have thought it'd be in there by now? It's on the insolvency register site.
Not looking for fame or anything (obviously!) just wondered! :D
hi syn, ive been trawling the local paper since we decided to go br back in august, i havent seen one! and i know what you mean about looking for fame....thats got to be one of the worst parts of going br......name in print for everyone to see...ouch!
I would not worry though, its nothing special and to be honest i have not seen my name in my local paper since we went BR in August.
The timeframe is down to the OR so its up to them when they give over our details to be published. That said it could be within a week or even a month or more.

Hi Syn, Went BR 9th Oct and it has been advertised in my local rag 2 times 23rd and 30th Oct. London gazette within a week. Its funny but i thought that i would die of embarasement but in fact i dont give a S..T. I've done the hard bit and told people who i care about and anyone else is really rather sad for looking in the paper for BRs in the first place! By the way the ads are so small it may not get noticed anyway. Take care
