Hi all,

If you are lucky enough to get early discharge does the OR write to you to let you know or are you only made aware by looking at the insolvency register? I had the letter informing me that i may be entitled to early discharge about 5 weeks ago so i am keeping my fingers crossed.

Hi

no you will be made aware if this happens.
You will normally be asked to complete another I&E form and if this throws up no change in your circumstances the early discharge should go ahead and you will be notified.

Keep in touch with your examiner, no problem asking how the proposed early discharge is coming along.

hammy,

Did you send back an I&E form (which should have come with the early discharge letter)? If so, provided there are no further changes you need to make the OR aware of you may well find - if my own experience is anything to go on - that you are discharged approximately 2 months after sending back the form. This sounds like you might have a bout 3 weeks to go. Of course, there might be other issues to slow it down. Assuming none of your creditors put in objections it looks pretty rosy to me. Keep checking the Insolvency Service website and you should find your early discharge appearing on there about 3 days before you receive a confirmatory letter from the OR. I did.

Fingers crossed and looking good.

Pix 1,

Yes i did send back a new I&E form, everything on there was exactly as of going BR. I am just hoping that my creditors don't put a stop to ED it would be great to get ED before christams.
