I am still getting the odd call from creditors chasing me for money and I have told them that I have gone bankrupt. Capital Collections are the worst. They have phoned me 3 times in 3 days only to tell me that I am in arrears and interest is still being charged. Will I be liable for interest still being charged when the creditor was included in my bankruptcy?. I am assuming not but just a thought.
Have not heard anything from OR office yet and had my interview on 4th November, I suppose they are very busy.
Anyone else had calls from creditors once they were bankrupt and what did you say? I have sent a copy of my bankruptcy order to some them to try and keep them quiet.
It took about 2 months to stop the calls from creditors so bare with the OR whilst i know its annoying but at least you can quote your court ref and hopefully the creditors will back off once the OR writes to them which can take a few weeks to filter through to the right dept.

I should imagine they are very busy at the moment so would wait until you hear from them.
I have not received any calls since sending a copy of my br certificate (day after br) with an enclosing letter to all my creditors. Maybe you could do that if you feel nervous etc. about calls/letters from them.
I had two credit cards with capital one and they were the same until they realised from the OR that I was bankrupt and then received a default dotice with very threatening paragraph saying that they could still come after me.
Capital collections are different from capital one from what I can gather as they are chasing money for CITI Financial.
From what I understand from the experts, creditors cannot come after you when are bankrupt and these creditors should now channel all communications through the OR.
Debtrider is correct, if they know you are BR they cannot contact you (I think) I had a debt to Citifinancial and as soon as I told them I was BR they were really helpful, checked the insolvency website and said I would not be bothered again. I havnt been, (from them)
