HIE AIM NEW TO THIS I HAVE GOT A DEBTS OF ABOUT 20,000 I DONT KNOW HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE ME TO PAY THEM BACK--I HAVE DECIDED TO GO FOR BANKRUPTCY I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT THE PROCEDURE OF HOW TO FILL THE BANKRUPTCY---THE THINGS I WANT TO KNOW IS THAT
A: WILL I BE ALLOWED TO HAVE A BASIC BANK ACCOUNT
B:I LIVE IN RENTED ACCOMODATION THIS MEANS I DONT OWN A HOUSE DO I
NEED TO LET THEM KNOW THIS

Firstly I would suggest that you familiarise yourself with the 6-28 Statement of affairs. This will give you a very good idea of what the Official Receiver is looking for.

Yes you will be allowed to have a basic bank account.
