In bankruptcy since March 08. Still receiving lots of threatening letters from people acting for bank and CCard creditors. Some nasty. Have passed them on to the O.R. O.R. is happy with everything and suggests discharge could be soon. Can these threats and any possible court actions continue after bankruptcy ends? |

Hi they are not allowed to harrass you now and they cannot harrass you after discharge.
If its continues tell them it will be reported to the police as its a breach of the admistration and justice act and that you will be forced to take it further if they dont stop with the calls and letters. Make sure they have your bankruptcy no and date and then if they do continue i would follow up your threat and inform the police.

My thanks to Jo (Needafriend) and others who replied to my question. In response to the question, "who are the perpetrators of the witch hunt?" The answer is mainly Lloyds TSB Credit Card who have passed it around several agencies and the Nationwide Card who in all fairness have written today with an apology. This presumably after they have received a stiff letter from the O.R. Many thanks for the assistance, Palmsman (Pman)

When I had problems with Littlewoods I sent them a copy of my BR order by recorded delivery and I never heard from them again.
