I really have had enough and I feel awlful for moaning all the time the bankruptcy is all my fault as I am the one who took the credit no one made me but I so feel I have been dealt a really bad hand.

Some of you may know I had a terrible interview with the examiner and been told I will have to go back for another interview.

I have been borrowing since 2005 loans to pay my credit payments and living costs each month and did this until end of 2007, last year I used my credit card until May to pay. In July I went on Maternity leave and realised we just could no longer do this, we sought advice for about 3 weeks were going to go the IVA route then decided on bankruptcy but due to husbands job and I have mainly all the debt I was to go bankrupt and he was looking into a DMP. Anyway we decided to give the house up and missed two mortgage payments in October and November as our fixed rate was coming to and end in Dec and would go up with the secured loan to about £1500 a month and we simply could not afford this and did not like where we lived. We found a rented house in a better area for £1k a month which was what we were paying on mortgage and loan currently. Anyway since we moved we have had 4 letters each time telling us the mortgage rate reducing following our deal end and now the payments would be less than our rent now. I dont regret giving the house back but do not think it will look favourably in the OR eyes.

Anyway I have also read other peoples interviews and they have had discussions on NT codes, expenses etc, the examiner never even touched on any of this with me so I have no idea what is happening in this regard. All he asked was the same questions again and again why I took credit and what it was spent on which I kept telling him the same answers.

Sorry for the rant but I am so fed up not helped that this week my good friend lost her 6 week old baby and I have the funeral for this next week.

Hi Help

Please do not says its your fault, as you did not take the credit out with the intenton of going br - circumstances change etc and we have no other option.

As for the house, i understand you feel like it was the wrong choice because of the rate going down - but how would you of coped if it had gone the other way ? I dont think the or will have a problem with the rent you are paying as long as it is the going rate for the area.

It will be too late to set up the nt code now as it would only run up to end of march anyway. As for your expenses, mine did not mention anything, so maybe its all ok for now which is why nothing has been said.

I am so sorry about your week ahead - this will obviously have a huge impact on your feelings along with everything else that is going on in your life.

Please dont apologise we have all been there - take care of yourself.

Jenny

Hello there,

The ORc as will not cast vote on your rent etc as there was no way you could have known. Remember that you didnt like the house and dont beat yourselves up.

You are having a tough week, but please remember that it will get better, I promise.
Sending huge hugs to you and your friend (((())))
I have had the pain of having to bury my baby son, so I understand all the emotions involved, but like you I now have a healthy baby (2 of them!), so remember that money is just paper with ink and houses are just bricks and mortar!

Hi Help007,

I know things look bleak now, but the only way to get through this is one day and one thing at a time. The OR will deal with everything in time so please be patient. I know you just want to put this wholse sorry affair behind you, but you're much further down the line than you think you are and it will all be over before you know it!
