Hello,
thank you for your help so far, but forgot another question!

What happens if I forget to include a debt on my SOA? I think I have included everything, but just wanted clarification incase there is one that materialises that I didnt include?

Thanks, Danni

Hi

You can write it on afterwards, countersign it and detail in section 13 about the new unsecured creditor, you can also inform the appointed official reciever.

This happened to me the other day with the forms, when orange told me that they are closing my account and that the amount owed will be added to my bankruptcy estate and elephant insurance have put a claim in for £98 for cancelling the insurance on my car.

Going bankrupt tomorrow

Hi Danni and welcome to the forum

I did not add my orange contract as i thought i could keep it, therefore did not add it on - however once orange found out about my br they simply billed me for the rest of the period and i sent it to the or....they have not 'told me off'.

Take care

Jenny

Hi Danni,

As long as the debt is a small percentage of the whole, it's not the end of the world if you forget to include one on your SOA. As long as you inform the OR ASAP, you'll be fine.
