Hi Katie

please note that you will need a letter from your IP or a Certificate of Termination which is also issued by your IP to show that your IVA has failed.

Without either the court will not grant your Debtor's Petition.

Hi all
I am worried about raising the money for my intended bankrupsy, as I have previously mentioned my iva is going to fail very soon and ime a bit muddled about stopping the iva payments to allow me time to start saving, how would anyone else go about this? at the moment I seem to be scared of my own shadow so really want to get on with it asap.
hope this makes sense to someone out there, thanx in advance kind people

If your IVA is in imminent danger of failing, and BR is the only way to go, I would stop paying your IVA and save this money for your BR fee.

As others have stated, you will need a certificate from your IP to say that your IVA has failed. I would contact them as soon as possible to tell them of your position.

The glimmer gets brighter all the time

Thanks Jan sounds like the way to go, I must admit I am dragging my heels a little but its just because I am so scared of it all but its nothing that others have not gone through and come out the other side better for it. God bless this site and all who submit to it
