Hi,

In addition to the online forms that need filling out, I am also putting together a document to provide more in-depth details for the OR.

I was planning on putting forward my case for needing to keep my 2 cars in this document. However, I was wondering if there is an official document that is normally used to request exemption of assets?

Hi Jez

I don't think there is a official document used to request exemption of assets. All assests are listed in your SOA. I told the examiner in my interview that I wanted my car exempted because I needed it for my self employment which was OK. In saying this he would only allow exemption up to a value of £2000 and anything over that could be bought by a 3rd party.
