does this mean you have recieved a form IPOQ and EDREV which you are going to send back to the OR? Or have sent back already? If so, yes you couldbe looking at an early discharge in several weeks proved the creditors do not object. Your wife cannot get an income payment order unless it starts before you are discharged. bankruptcy restrictions do not apply once you are discharged.

my mum is a creditor and she had a letter to say we will be discharged early unless other creditors objected, what are those forms?

They are the forms that are usually sent out for you to complete prior to early discharge. However not everyone gets them, so you may be discharged early without receiving them.

Tomorrow is a mystery, yesterday is history, today is the present, a gift to make the most of.

we haven't had these forms, it just said on mums letter that unless any other creditor objected we would be discharged 28 days from the date of the letter, which was the 19th Feb. There were only certain things that could be classed as objections, none of which aply to us, like not disclosing assets, gambling, neglecting the business etc.

yes, because your mother was a creditor she has received the same kind of form that all creditors would have received. oyu have given us an insight into the process as seen by a creditor! what this means is that if there are no objections by the date mentioned the OR will apply to the court for your early discharge and a judge will stamp an early discharge anytime soon after the papers reach the court. fingers crossed it will be all over soon!

fingers crossed! it has been a long journey. The worst bit being the 6 months leading up to the BR, all those phonecalls every day from banks demanding money, it was the most stressful thing we have ever been through. If i knew what i know now i would have made the decision to do it earlier. It was our only option and he best thing we could have done and our life has been absolutely brilliant since, no stress at all!! I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone on this site for all your help and support it has been fantastic when you have no idea of what is going to happen it is a huge help to have the support of people who have been through it and know what they are talking about. course not, we went bankrupt on the 17th september, but it was very straightforward, we had a small business tried very hard to make it work but unfortunately we couldnt do it. We hadn't been irrisponsible in any way, or used our credit cards for nearly a year because we knew we would probably have to go BR, and i thik that went in our favour. 4 months is good!!
