Hi All S10 Here,

I have been given A BRU today, prior to BR discharge in June. I have had consultation with The OR, and as far as I can see, apart fronm not obtaining credit for 5 years,(a good thing really!) this is the only thing that has a major affect. As after BR discharge, the creditors have no claim to me and if I have increase in income or inheritance the OR has no claim to this either, even though a BRU is in force.
AM I CORRECT or am I missing something?
Any comments welcome

Hi S10

No you are right. After the one year anniversary you are discharged from your debt, you just have the restrictions of bankruptcy that run on for the period of the BRU.

Thanks Suzanne,
I cant see me being a school governer /MP/ or Company Director, so the positive is having to manage my money without credit. Not too bad really.
Thanks again
