Hi,
Can someone tell me if you need to prove your expenditure, just so I know whether I need to start collecting receipts in the run up to BR.
For example things like utility bills will be easy to prove but will I also need to find evidence of our food bill, school dinners and hairdressers etc?

Thanks

I didn't have to, but saying that the receiver had my last 12 months bank statements so could see on that anyway, I think they have a standard guideline they use but nothing was queried on mine even the £10 a week cat food,I have 2 cats but didn't have to prove that.

We had to send receipts and bills to the OR but that was because we were appealing against an IPA that he wanted and we did not think fair.
