My wife has filled out the forms for ED. The case officer at the OR (RTLU ) office has said that the 'papers are with the court'. Does this mean the court has a pile of applications for ED and will eventually get my wife's stamped and backdate the date of discharge to the one asked for by the OR?
for my part I don't respond when i don't know the answer. The question is one that may be answered by someone that has hands on experience in an OR's office or a court and I have neither I'm afraid.
the thing is it has been over 8 weeks since my wife submitted the forms edrev and ipoq. she has been told she will not be getting an additional ipa above the nil tax code one she has already got. i suppose if there were any chance of a bru/bro she would hear directly from the OR before the court got involved so i am assuming 'papers with the court' means ED papers only. i suppose she will just have to wait.
took about 6 weeks for my ED, check the online IS BR register to see if they've put it on there, i found out there then I got the ED notice in the post 2 weeks after. dont ring or write too much though as they dont seem to like it.
