Hi

I am currently trying to clean up my credit file following my discharge from bankruptcy in April 2005
i have a few defaults that are not satisfied on my credit file which i am writng to the companies to get satisfied

However i have a CCJ settled on my account 1/1/05 but the date of satisfaction is showing as August 2006(this was part of my BR petition)
I have checked with the court who advise that this was when they were notiifed of the satisfaction is this the correct date to show?

this now means it will remain on my file longer until 2012

Thanks

Hi

I suspect that this is the date that the creditors got round to dealing with the administration for the process.

the CCJ will not have a great impact on your credit file after 5 years anyway - especially as it is so difficult to borrow money now
