When a bankruptcy order is made and someone is adjudged bankrupt does the order have to contain the amount the bankrupt person owes. I know the order will contain the bankrupts name and address but should it also contain how much they owe?
Nope it doesnt say the amount owed, not even on the actual order let alone in the paper. Looking back now I cannot believe by my early twenties I had ammassed over £73,000 in dept, was scary when it was all added up at the time but I can now see how the banks of got this world into such a mess.
However I believe creditors can apply to see the petition.
Not that they have time or interest. I suspect this is where a small local creditor believes that the petitioner has fibbed on the SOA - i.e. I have no assets but have a Rolls Royce.
