I have been so worried, reading previous posts. I was declared Br last Tuesday. Some of my debt problem was due to my ex-partner who had money from me but not in any "agreed" way. She needed helping out and because I loved her I helped her. She was going to lose her house and needed help which I gave her. This happened for a few years. I also gave her money expecting to get it back. I also had a friend who I paid for her mobile phone for ages, she kept saying she would pay me back etc. but never came. I am a gay female, only saying that cos it will help explain my reasons. I paid for my friend and her male partner's phone in as much as I signed up to a contract as they told me they could not get a contract. I carried on paying, when I realised that no money was forthcoming I blocked the sim on his phone. My friend used to turn up at my house hysterical cos of problems at home with her partner. I could not block hers cos I was worried that she had no landline and I was worried that if she needed to phone anyone, she had two small children. I ended up cancelling the SIM but bought her a pay as you go card. Now I needed only to pay the contract payment of £15 a month which for two people added up. Her partner started accusing me of all sorts against his wife over 18 months. I did not detail any monies owed on my SOA cos nothing was agreed and I also probably knew I would never get anything back. I also needed to turn my back totally on these people who had "wrung me out to dry". I did say in the write up at the end about how people had used me but hope I have not committed perjury?? Nothing was agreed and nothing signed. I am so worried.

If nothing was agreed or signed then it was a gift not a loan.
