Hi,
as a sole trader how difficult would it be to start trading as a business once declared bankrupt??

Hi kellsy

It should be relatively easy for you to trade after bankruptcy, many other have done it. The only restriction in bankruptcy that could cause you problems is the 'no credit over £500 without declaring status'rule. But if you are able to pay for your supplies in cash as you go along, there should be no problem.

but i cant trade under my company name?? and what about payments to me i usually invoice a customer using my company name and recieve my payment in the co name !! can i just trade using myname instead of using the co name that way cheques are made straight to me??
