I am going to open a cashminder before going BR. I will use this for my business which is currently through Barclays but I presume they will close it even though I do not owe any money through my business. My question is - If I receive a cheque with my current business name on can I sign the back of the cheque and get it paid into my cashminder.

If you open the Cashminder before going BR don't put it on the SOA or it will be frozen even temporarily.

I don't know if anyone here has experience of business cheques and the Cashminder account but I would recommend confirming whether you can sign the back of the cheque with the bank just to make sure.
