Travel Expenses

Living in a rural community we spend a fair amount on petrol for personal usage (school runs, shopping, etc...), however, I also have to travel up to 160 miles per day for work and also have to do a 400 mile round trip twice a month to maintain contact with my daughter (from my previous marriage)

This all equates to around 5000 miles/month and say at a rate of 25p/mile equates to £1250/month which is way in excess of the £180/month allowable through the ORs standard expenditure form. Would any allowance be made for this?

Just state whatever the figures are with an explanation as to actual mileage etc for the OR - If it is justifiable it will be allowed
