hi everyone, could someone explaine me about ipa.if i will pay an ipa for 3years then i wont be able to get a second job because the or will monitor my account and i wont be able to save any money for myself.is that right?
If you earn enough money to have to pay an IPA, then I imagine that if you take out secondary employment, you will have to pay some of that across as well.
You will not be left with no disposable income at all, you may well be able to make some savings.
Hi Rabbit007, just be honest with the OR (Official Receiver). Like Kallis said, you would have to pay some of it in. It will be only a percentage though so still leaves you some money to spend as you wish. They will just assess your income throughout the 3 year period and adjust the IPA accordingly. I am on an IPA and although it is hard, (I have 66% IPA), it is only for 3 years rather than the endless years I would have had. Good luck. Rosie
thank u kallis and frosie.although my expenditures are more than my income but im still worried about or to reduce my expenditures.thats why im thinking to have an extra job.
