Should I inform all the credit card companys that I will be going bankrupt? I have a bankruptcy appointment but not for three weeks and creditors are calling daily at home and at work.

I have done this - they dont take any notice!! My appointment is also in 3 weeks time, and the phone hardly stops ringing. I sugest you get them to remove your works phone number from your account details, it can be so embarassing getting calls at work! I had this with Argos. They rang once, my boss found me to say it was Argos, and she said do you want to talk to them? i said no, so she told them she couldn't find me(its quite a big place). This was in front of my workmates, so felt really embarassed! You can also get your home phone number changed, least you'll get some peace!!

its up to you, remember though that after the bankruptcy they most likley will get nothing so it would make sense (in their minds) for them to try and pressure you into payments whilst they have the chance once they know
