I want to know if the person is bankcrupt how do i search

The Insolvency Register will tell you if they are currently BR or have been discharged within the last 3 months - http://www.insolvency.gov.uk/eiir/.

You can also search the London Gazette (http://www.london-gazette.co.uk/) as people who have been declared BR will be listed on there forever.

If the person lives outside Engand and Wales, then you will have to pay for the information, otherwise it is freely available.
