Hi when you are Br you are still allowed to trade, however then OR may take business assets such as stock and would have an interest in leases etc.

What type of business does your husband run and are there any assets that are at risk of bankruptcy?

it is a taxi company, the only asset in the company is the car and if that was taken there would be no business!!

HI

I helped 5 taxi companies this year and on each occasion the OR was fine with the HP repayments as it was needed for work and the repayments were not excessive. Also the cars were "modest", but on each occasion worth over 3000.

I would recommend that your hubby reviews any debts with HMRC as well as it would be good to get these cleared up as well.
