If I declare myself bankrupt will it affect the house I share with my husband. We are both on the mortgage which is an interest only with no equity in the house at present
If there is no equity in the property then the house wouldn't be affected. If there were equity then the OR would want to release your 50% of it so it would mean your husband would need to find this amount to pay to the OR.
