Hi, my wife and i were on a IVA for a couple of years and have just failed it. Because of this the dept company are making us bankrupt which we didnt appose because they actually pay for it which saves us finding the fees. The court date is the 26th october. My question is that do we need to show up because their solicitors agent will be there. Would this look bad and go against us afterwards? I would be grateful for any advice.

Hi you do not need to go to court especially if you are not opposing it, but you will need to fully cooperate with the Official Receiver afterwards
