hi im about to file for br i got a static caravan on finance 3 years ago and my x wife signed as garantor i still owe 27 thousand on it and i live in it i also have 35 thousand in other debts what will the outcome be

Hi John and welcome to the forum

not sure if the caravan is your home or not but assuming it is a holiday home then you will probably find that the terms and conditions of the finance agreement mean that they will cancel the agreement.

in addition any shorfall in its value will be included in the bankruptcy debt. your wife would then become liable for the debt.

it may be possible for your wife to continue with the payments and retain the caravan .

really need to see the contract and how it is laid out in the park agreement
