hi my question is that if you go br you only go on zero tax code for that tax yr .if you went br in say feb would that mean you would not get the zero tax code or would it go through to april next yr.hope this makes sense thks

Hi jo07, it is only for the tax year within which you are made BR. If you go BR in Feb you would only have nil tax code for 2 months if they have time to amend your code. A lot of people file for BR in Feb/March as the inland revenue don't have time to change it so. You will revert back to normal tax coding in April. Hope this helps.
