My partner is being issued a Bankruptcy petition on the 21st Nov, but he's been ordered to pay a judgement of order by the 30th Nov for a debt he has, when will the petition take effect to stop people chasing us. Thanks Kelly

If you are going to court on the 21st to declare BR then this will be the date that creditors are legally obliged to deal with the OR rather than your partner.

officially the creditors should deal with the OR from the second you are BR but it takes a while for the OR to get in touch and realistically he may not have done in 9 days...
i would suggest that after you have the BR order in front of you contact the creditor taking court action and advise them of your new situation and that they will be better off saving their money as any order will be null and void

It can take time to get the bailiffs and they won't be aware you are declaring BR. You will also be BR before the deadline for the judgement order so as of the 21st Nov any creditors will be legally required to deal with the OR.

if they are organising court action they will not require bailiffs until the judgement order is granted by which time you will be BR so it is invalid because your financial affairs are then between you and the OR
